Biography

Steve launched Bray Farm IA in October 2023 following a 26-year career in fixed income asset management and research. Prior to Bray Farm IA’s launch, Steve held various roles in credit research and portfolio management at Federated Hermes with a focus on high yield bonds, leveraged loans, and CLO’s. Portfolio management responsibilities included various multi-asset strategies which involved allocations into Asset-backed, Mortgage, Corporate Bonds, and Leveraged Loan sectors. Previous experience includes Credit Relationship manager with Mellon Bank Corp in Boston, MA and as a Surety Bond Representative with Aetna Casualty and Surety in Boston, MA. A graduate of Boston College with a B.S. in Management, Steve also received his MBA from the Katz School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh.

Steven received a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.A. in English and a minor in Economics from Boston College in 2020. He is currently enrolled at Columbia University’s graduate Sustainability Sciences Program with projected matriculation in May 2024. In addition, Steven has experience in the public, private and research sectors. He is employed as an analyst in the New York City Office of Management and Budget – Sustainability and Resiliency team. Steven’s interests include surfing, rowing and reading.
